CauseHawk Browser Extensions Privacy

The CauseHawk browser extensions do not track, collect, store, reuse or share any data about its users.

Our browser extensions automatically send a query containing the current website domain to our API to retrieve data about the domain. The data sent is used only to update the status of the browser extension icon. The domain is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information.

When the extension icon is clicked our extensions send the current website domain to our API to generate content for the extension popup window providing additional information about the current website domain. The data sent is used only to provide this information. The domain is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information.

All data sent from our browser extensions to our APIs is transmitted over a secure connecton using ssl encryption.
